Origin

Association Saikorian felt that, all its members (old boys of Sainik School Korukonda) having been benefited by the excellent all round development at a premier educational institution in the State, needed to give back something to the society. After considerable thought, the members unanimously felt that the association should concern itself with the neglected children in the society. Thus “Project Krushi” was born in the year 1994. This humble initiative took off, by setting up a “Home for former street children” at a rented premise in Begumpet, Hyderabad. Later in the year 2007 a new home popularly known as “Krushi Home” was established in the out skirts of Hyderabad at Gowdavelly Village near Medchal between lush green fields.
